Bill Black is a retired Radiologist. He has been painting for ten years and finds it much more relaxing than playing bad golf. He naively started with watercolours but finds acrylics more forgiving and much more suitable to his personality.
He has more recently returned to watercolours attempting to develop a simplified and abstract style. He has had group exhibitions in Malvern in 2009 and has had three annual exhibitions at the Hawthorn Elgin Studio, where he now paints regularly.
