I am a painter of realistic subjects i.e still life, animals, birds and landscapes. Most are produced using oil paint, and in earlier days Printmaking (drypoint and lino cuts) however I have now set my self a challenge to produce works in watercolour. This is a medium requiring a different set of disciplines and one I'm looking forward too.

Although my aim is to produce work that is pleasing to the eye and fairly representational, the main driver for me is the process and the actual physical enjoyment of painting (and printmaking) and hopefully this shows through in the final work.
